Airbnb keyword search
The Airbnb Keyword Search is gone.
Airbnb wants people to view more properties which is good for analytics and good for generating serendipitous sales because people get incentivised with different locations rather than solely relying on features.
Security and/or privacy could have been a concern as well. If the free text search allowed people to easily identify homes of, say, tenants that aren't supposed to be AirBnb-ing or to identify homes that have valuable art.
