Airbnb Instagram marketing tips
Airbnb Instagram marketing - It’s fast, free and easy to get started
1) Open your account
Open your Airbnb Instagram account by using an email address, Facebook account or phone number. Set up a new account for your Airbnb business, don’t mix it with your personal profile. Instagram’s app will usually let you toggle between multiple accounts so you shouldn’t have to log out and back in very often.
2) Complete your profile
On your profile you’ll be able to add a photo, a bio text and link to your Airbnb page.
Your Airbnb instagrambio text should be short, concise with casual but professional language and describe your Airbnb business.
Try to stand out from the crowd and highlight what makes YOUR Airbnb special. From time to time, update your text to display fun announcements, such as new amenities, events, or Airbnb listings you’ve added.
3) Start following relevant accounts. Make Only follow people in the vacation rental industry (this way you can boost your Instagram rankings)
4) Start with upload quality photos of your property
5) Tell stories
Upload photos that tell a story like a photo of the sunset from your rooftop. Your guests should be able to imagine themselves at your Airbnb.
6) Post about activities that people can do in your area, for example upload a live video of you at one of the local events
7) Post at least something every week
8) Tag local infuencers and other relevant businesses in your area, such as restaurants, events and attractions
9) Interact with other users. It's a reason why it's called social media. Be interactive. Like and comment on other peoples posts and you'll quickly be discovered and will slowly build a follower base.
Use relevant Airbnb Instagram tags
Some popular Airbnb Instagram tags are:
- #Airbnb + location (such as #AirbnbLondon or #Airbnbfrance)
Search related profiles to find trending tags and play around with them. Do not use the same tags all the time. Look at other popular Instagram profiles with relevant content and explore new tags.
